We know that there are many churches, each unique as a body of believers, that God has brought together for specific purposes. At Bayshore Christian Fellowship, we believe that God has brought us together as a body to glorify Him by teaching His Word and taking His life changing message to the hurting . Our desire is to live dynamic Christian lives that are continually growing and being transformed to be more and more like Christ. All of the ministries at BCF exist to glorify God and to help believers journey toward the life God intended. It is our mission to integrate God's Word into every area of our lives, BCF desires to journey with the Lord, that we may know Him, be known by Him, and so that we might impart His life transforming grace to all people.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God which He uses to reveal Himself to us, increase our faith, and provide direction for our lives.
The Bible teaches that there is only one God who exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This doctrine is called the Trinity.
We believe that God created the human race to have fellowship with Him, but that our sin separates us from Him who is holy and righteous. God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so that we might be reconciled to Him. We believe that repentance from sin and belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to be saved from eternal judgment.
Bayshore Christian Fellowship is here to lead you into a life-changing and productive relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to equip you to spread God's love, forgiveness, and compassion to the lost and hurting people in Galveston County and the rest of the world!
When we receive salvation, God blesses us with a spiritual family. In church, you'll meet your spiritual family, people who trust in God and are growing like you. In church, you will sing, read, and study the Bible together. Hebrews 10:24-25
The Bible teaches us to do many things when we accept Jesus as our Savior. One of the most important things is to be baptized. Baptism is a simple, spiritual act of obedience. It represents and publicly testifies to our new life in Christ. Luke 3:21-22
The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). It also says that faith comes from hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). The more scripture you know, the stronger your faith will become. Psalm 119:9-13
If you want to be useful in God's kingdom, you must become a disciplined learner. The Bible calls this person a disciple of Christ. Find a friend, pastor, or family member who can help you grow in your faith. Mathew 28:19-20
